Eglwyswrw

We are situated between the magnificent Preseli Hills, the Gwaun valley and the beautiful coastline of North Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. The village is conveniently situated on the A487, midway between Newport and Cardigan.

Eglwyswrw is a small friendly village with a church, petrol station, garage and a very welcoming, well stocked village shop and post office; where daily newspapers, fresh bread, local organic milk and much more are available.

We are very well situated for visiting the beautiful beaches (many are Blue Flag) of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Newport, Cwm Yr Eglwys, Pwll Gwaelod, Poppit Sands, Ceibwr, Tresaith, Penbryn, Aberporth and Mwnt are a short distance away. Cardigan Bay is home to large numbers of both bottlenose dolphins and harbour porpoise. Seals can be seen almost all year round particularly from Cardigan Island Farm Park and at many points along the coastal path.

How to find us on arrival:

Directions A. Arriving from East

Entering  the village on the B4332 (from Boncath), you will arrive at a T junction with the church on your right. Turn right towards Cardigan and you will see the Post office on your left. Turn into the lane after the post office and immediately right into our driveway - there is a sign there for The Plough and Plough Cottages.

Directions B (A487) from Cardigan.

If coming from Cardigan direction, you will go down a steep hill as you enter the village. Indicate right as soon as you see the Eglwyswrw sign, turn right just before the Post office, then immediately right into our driveway.

Directions C from Fishguard.

We are on the far side of the village; turn left directly after the post office and then right up into the driveway.
